Join us on Tuesday at the Brass Tap, our new home!
As you may have heard from our previous emails and social media posts, OLSC Raleigh made a quick decision last Friday to change venues for our match viewing party against Manchester United. That move was temporary as we tested new waters for the match viewing experience in downtown Raleigh. Despite short notice, the Raleigh Reds turned out to the Brass Tap in huge numbers with loud voices. The ownership and staff at the Brass Tap were extremely impressed and have extended their welcome to us for all future matches. We asked you for feedback as well, and the response came back overwhelmingly positive. We do not take the decision to change venues lightly, as we have been partners with London Bridge Pub since the beginning in 2012. It’s the only pub we’ve known to call home, and we have had some awesome memories there over the years. Since last season, OLSC Raleigh had been working diligently with the new management of London Bridge Pub to help them better serve all footy fans from the area, specifically for our Raleigh Reds. It’s still the best pub-style environment you will find in the capital. We will continue to offer support for our former home as they seek it, but the time has come for something new. Details with the Brass Tap are still being worked out, but we can confidently state that all parties are excited about what the future brings for both of us.
